Jeju National University Hospital has submitted an application for designation as a tertiary hospital and the results are expected to be announced around November.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare has completed the application process for the 5th round of applications, and a total of 54 medical institutions, including Jeju National University Hospital, have submitted their applications.

The regions for evaluating tertiary hospitals will be announced around November.
Nevertheless, the call for the establishment of a tertiary hospital in the Jeju region persists, yet there are apprehensions about the potential drawbacks due to Jeju's inclusion in the same category as the Seoul metropolitan area.

권역을 발표할 것으로 알려졌습니다.

한편 제주지역 상급병원 지정 필요성은 지속적으로 제기되고 있지만
제주도가 서울권역과 함께 묶여 있어
상대적 불이익을 받고 있다는 지적이 나오고 있습니다.
