The Seogwipo City 365 Civilian-Government Cooperation Medical Center, a first of its kind in the country, will officially begin operation from October.

Seogwipo City has announced that Dr. (박영준) Park Young-joon, an orthopedic specialist, has been selected as the operator of the Seogwipo City Civilian-Government Cooperation Medical Center. The center is set to open in October.

Dr. Park currently operates an orthopedic clinic in Seoul and has held positions such as a professor at the National (경상) Kyungsang University Medical School and the director of (원광) Wonkwang Comprehensive Hospital.

With the opening of the Seogwipo City Civilian-Government Cooperation Medical Center, there are expectations that medical accessibility will improve 365 days a year, even in medically underserved areas such as towns and rural regions.

운영자로 박영준 정형외과 전문의가 최종 선정돼
10월에 개원할 예정이라고 밝혔습니다.

박 원장은 서울에서 정형외과의원을 운영하고 있으며
국립경상대 의과대학 교수와 원광종합병원 병원장 등을 지냈습니다.

이번에 서귀포시 민관협력 의원이 개원하면
의료취약지역인 읍,면지역에서도 365일 의료접근성이 개선될 전망입니다.
