A Vietnamese immigrant in her 40s was arrested for illegally selling imported abortion pills and cigarettes.
The Coast Guard has apprehended a Vietnamese woman, who became a Korean citizen in 2019, on charges of unlawfully advertising and selling abortion pills and cigarettes imported from Vietnam to crew members and others via social media.
On the 18th of last month, the Korea Coast Guard conducted a search and seizure operation, recovering over 380 items, including abortion pills, cigarettes, and data stored on the suspect's mobile phone, at her residence and vehicle.

40대 베트남 귀화 여성이 붙잡혔습니다.

해경에 따르면
피의자는 지난 2019년 한국 국적으로 귀화한 베트남 여성으로 SNS에 광고글을 게시한 뒤
선원 등을 상대로
베트남에서 제조된
불법 낙태약과 담배를 판매해 한 혐의를 받고 있습니다.

해경은 지난달 18일
피의자의 주거지와 차량을 압수수색해
낙태약과 담배,
피의자의 휴대전화에 저장된 정보 등 380여 점을 압수했습니다.
