Jeju witnessed a significant surge in school violence perpetrators last year.

According to Jeju Provincial Police Agency, perpetrators arrested in Jeju last year exceeded 240, marking a 50% increase from the previous year's 160. This represents the highest number recorded in the past decade.

Among these, violent crimes were the most prevalent with over 130 cases, followed by 46 sexual offenses, and 18 embezzlement cases.

지난해 제주에서 검거된 학교폭력 가해자는
240여 명으로
전년의 160명 보다 50% 이상 늘었습니다.

특히 최근 10년 들어 가장 많은 수치로 기록되고 있습니다. 이 가운데 폭력 범죄가 130여 명으로 가장 많았고 성범죄 46명, 금품 갈취는 18명 이었습니다.
