Jeju City is increasing meat supply volumes until the 27th to secure enough supplies for the upcoming Chuseok holiday.

Cattle slaughter will increase to around 34 head per day based on the Jeju Livestock Breeding Cooperative Joint Market, and approximately 1,860 pigs will be slaughtered during this period.

This marks a 21% and 7.5% growth compared to the previous year.

Jeju City plans to conduct hygiene inspections on livestock production and sales establishments as part of its efforts to prevent any potential risks.

제주시가 추석 명절을 앞두고
축산물 수급안정을 위해 오는 27일까지 도축물량을 확대합니다.

도축물량은
소의 경우 제주축협 축산물공판장 기준으로
하루 34마리 수준으로 확대하고
돼지도 1천860마리 규모로 도축할 계획입니다.

이는 지난해 추석 시기와 비교해 각각 21%, 7.5% 증가한 규모입니다.

제주시는 이와함께 소비자 피해 예방을 위해
축산물 제조, 판매 업소를 대상으로 위생 점검도 실시할 예정입니다.
