Jeju offers its first-ever discount on Jeju’s local currency ‘Tamnaneunjeon,’ ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

Starting on the 20th, a 7% discount will be offered for paper currency purchases of ‘Tamnaneunjeon’ or top-ups up to 700,000 won per person.

In addition, consumers are allowed to make combined discount purchases ranging between 5% to 10%, for a potential 17% total discount.

However, if demand surges, merchant discounts may be discontinued in the month of September.


20일부터 탐나는전 충전·구매 7% 할인

추석을 앞두고 제주도가 올 들어 처음으로 탐나는전을 할인 발행합니다.

이에 따라 20일부터
1인당 월 70만 원 한도 내에서
탐나는전을 지류로 구입하거나
충전하면 7%의 할인이 적용됩니다.

5에서 10%에 이르는
가맹점 할인도 중복 지원돼
소비자는 최대 17%의 할인 혜택을 받게 됩니다.

다만 제주도는
탐나는전 할인 확대로 이용자들이 많아질 경우
이르면 9월 중 가맹점 할인 혜택은 중단될 수 있다고 설명했습니다.
