The Jeju Municipal Police bolster efforts against origin labeling violations ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

A special task force will conduct inspections at traditional markets, large supermarkets, restaurants, popular social media food spots, prestigious hotels, and tourist restaurants until the 30th.

They will also monitor online platforms and food delivery apps with a dedicated cyber team.

Inspections will cover improper storage or use of expired food items and deceptive labeling of livestock products.

추석 명절을 앞두고 원산지 표시 위반 행위 단속을 강화합니다.

이번 단속은 오는 30일까지 특별단속반을 편성해
전통시장과 대형마트, 음식점, SNS 맛집,
유명 호텔, 관광 식당 등을 중심으로 이뤄집니다.


사이버 전담팀을 활용해
온라인과 배달앱에 대한 모니터링도 실시합니다.

단속 기간 유통기간이 지난 식품을
보관 또는 사용하는 행위와
축산물 허위 표시와 과대 광고에 대한 점검도 병행합니다.
