Jeju has secured a national budget worth 300 billion KRW for 2024 to be used for disaster prevention.

Jeju has earmarked 300 billion KRW for disaster prevention projects next year, spanning five initiatives across 23 regions.

The funding, comprising both national and local contributions amount to a total of 600 billion KRW, including the redevelopment of (대정읍) Daejeong-up in Seogwipo City, which suffered flood damage last year, with improvements expected until 2027.

제주도가 국비 3백억 원을 확보하고
내년도 재해예방사업을 추진합니다.

내년에 추진될 재해예방사업은
모두 5개 사업, 23개 지구에서 진행되며
국비와 지방비 모두 6백억 원이 투입됩니다.

특히 지난해 태풍과 집중호우로 침수 피해가 컸던
서귀포시 대정읍 일대 정비사업이
신규로 선정되면서
2027년까지 우수관로 정비와 저류시설이 설치될 예정입니다.
