The Popular waterfront 'Blue Hole' located at (하원동) Hawon-dong has been designated as a restricted access area.

The Korea Coast Guard Seogwipo Branch will designate the popular 'Blue Hole' coastal spot in (하원동) Hawon-dong as a restricted area from October 30th due to potential risks of falls and drowning identified in a recent joint investigation.

Trespassers may face fines up to 1 million KRW. Enhanced patrols and safety measures will also be implemented at Hwangwooji Beach, another restricted area, until next month 29th

서귀포해양경찰서는 지난 달 합동조사 결과
추락과 익수 사고 위험성이 있다고 판단해
10월 30일부터 '블루홀' 해안가를 출입통제구역으로 지정합니다.

무단 출입하면 관련 법에 따라 100만원 이하의 과태료가 부과됩니다. 해경은 현재 출입통제구역으로 지정된 황우지해변에 대해서도
다음달 29일까지 순찰과 안전관리를 강화할 계획입니다.
