‘Heartbeat’ as Official Name for Disabled Orchestra


The Jeju Special Education Office has chosen the name 'Heartbeat' for its orchestra consisting of members with disabilities, with the goal to establish the orchestra by December.


The POE conducted a one-month public naming contest for the orchestra starting from July 20th, during which 94 entries were received. After careful evaluation, the name ‘Heartbeat’ was selected.

'Heartbeat' represents warm, love-inspired melodies, and the orchestra will soon begin recruiting members.

오는 12월 창단을 목표로 하는
제주도교육청 장애인오케스트라 이름이 '핫빛'으로 확정됐습니다.

제주도교육청은 지난 7월 20일부터 한달동안
도민을 대상으로 장애인오케스트라 이름을 공모한 결과
94명이 응모한 명칭을 대상으로 심사를 거쳐
이 같이 결정했다고 밝혔습니다.

'핫빛(Heartbeat)'은 사랑을 바탕으로 마음을 울리는 따뜻한 선율을 의미합니다.

도교육청 장애인오케스트라는 앞으로 단원 채용에 나설 예정입니다.
