CCTV Recording at Patient Request

Hospitals will be required to record surgical procedures using CCTV cameras if requested by a patient.

Per the province, patients who undergo surgery under general anesthesia can request their procedure to be recorded via CCTV.

Hospitals refusing without a valid reason may face a fine of up to 5 million won.
Exceptions include emergency surgeries or operations that may result in bodily dysfunction.
Six general hospitals among 31 institutions in Jeju have been identified for mandatory CCTV installation.


환자 요청시 병원 수술 CCTV 촬영 의무화

앞으로 환자가 요청하면 해당 병원에서 수술 장면을 CCTV로 촬영해야 합니다.

제주도 등에 따르면
전신마취로 수술을 받는 환자들은
수술 촬영을 병원측에 요구할 수 있으며
정당한 이유 없이 병원이 거부하면
최대 5백만 원의 과태료가 부과됩니다.

다만 환자가 요구하더라도
응급환자 수술이나 신체기능 장애를 초래하는 수술 등 예외 상황에서는 촬영을 거부할 수 있습니다.

제주에서는 종합병원 6곳을 비롯한 31곳이
CCTV 설치 의무 의료기관으로 파악됐습니다.
