Out of the educational buildings under the Jeju Provincial Office of Education, 26 buildings were identified to be over 30 years old.

According to the Jeju POE, the 26 buildings are spread across 10 institutions including the Provincial Office of Education Headquarters, Seogwipo City Office of Education Education, Tamna Education Training Institute and Jeju Instructors in English Education Center.

The average age of these buildings is 37 years, with the oldest, a classroom at Jeju International Education Institute, at 59 years old.


The Jeju Provincial Office of Education is considering relocating agencies to the (동인) Dongin Elementary School site.

지은 지 30년이 넘은 건축물은 26개 동으로 조사됐습니다.

제주도교육청에 따르면 준공 후 30년 이상 경과된 건축물은 제주도교육청 본청과 제주시.서귀포시교육지원청,
그리고 탐라교육원과 제주국제교육원 등 10개 기관에 26개 동으로 나타났습니다.

이들 건축물의 평균 경과 연수는 37년으로
가장 노후된 건축물은 제주국제교육원 교실동으로 59년에 달했습니다.

제주도교육청은 현재 동인초 부지를 활용해
도교육청 산하 기관들의 이설 등을 검토중입니다.
