The Province is preparing for the tangerine harvest season by deploying a total of 15,000 workers from both within and outside the region.

The workforce comprises 8,000 paid workers, 2,000 volunteers, and 5,000 seasonal workers, with support from the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and local authorities.

The province is actively enlisting workers through the Agricultural Manpower Support Center, along with other agricultural-related organizations and senior citizens' associations.

A situation room will operate until December 22nd to allocate manpower where required and support with administrative tasks.




감귤 수확철 대비 도내외 인력 1만5천명 투입


제주특별자치도가 감귤수확철에 대비해 도내외 인력 1만 5천명을 투입합니다.

유상인력(paid workers) 8천명과 무상인력 2천명, 공공형 계절근로자 5천명으로 농협중앙회와 행정시를 통해 농업 인력 지원에 나섭니다.


이를 위해 현재 농업인력지원센터(Human resources support center created for area farms) 를 통해 다른 지방 농업 관련 단체와 대한노인회 등에서 인력을 모집중입니다.

제주도는 12월 22일까지 농업인력지원 종합상황실을 운영해 필요한 인력을 배치하고 각종 민원에 대처할 계획입니다.
