The rise in consumer prices in the Jeju region has expanded for two consecutive months.

According to the Jeju Office of (호남) Honam Regional Statistics, the consumer price increase rate in Jeju last month was 2.7%, a 0.4% point increase from a month ago.

The local consumer price rise hit a low point of 1.2% in July, but the increase has grown for two straight months since then.

Electricity, gas, and water saw the steepest increase by product type, at 17.9%. There were also upticks in industrial products, and services, as well as agricultural, livestock, and fishery products.

지난달 제주도내 소비자물가 상승률은 2.7%로
한 달 전보다 0.4%포인트 확대됐습니다.


도내 소비자물가 상승률은
지난 7월 1.2%로 저점을 찍은 이후
2개월 연속 오름폭이 커졌습니다.

품목성질별 상승률은
전기·가스·수도가 17.9%로 가장 높았으며
공업제품과 서비스, 농축수산물 등도
일제히 상승한 것으로 나타났습니다.
