The usage of the Jeju Disabled Sports Center is on the rise.

According to Jeju, as of last August, the number of users of the Jeju Disabled Sports Center reached over 53,000, approximately an 11-fold increase compared to the same period last year.


The significant rise in users is credited to the revival of programs post-COVID-19 and ongoing facility upgrades.

The province plans to introduce more diverse programs, including yoga, jump rope, and badminton and intends to renovate outdoor walking paths and parking facilities for better convenience.

지난 8월 기준 제주장애인스포츠센터 이용자는
5만 3천여 명으로
지난해 같은 기간보다 11배 이상 증가했습니다.

코로나19 종식 이후 프로그램이 재개되고
지속적으로 시설을 개보수 한 것이
이용자 급증 요인으로 분석됐습니다.

제주도는
앞으로 요가와 줄넘기, 배드민턴 등
보다 다양한 프로그램을 추진하고
야외 산책로와 주차장 등
편의 시설을 보수할 계획입니다.
