Jeju City will carry out a unified vaccination program for cattle and goats to combat Foot-and-Mouth Disease through the end of the month.

While self-vaccination is primarily encouraged, small-scale and other eligible farms experiencing difficulties have the option for vaccination via public veterinarians, including those managed by older individuals.

Post-vaccination, monitoring tests will commence after four weeks. Farms not meeting the required antibody positivity rates may incur penalties of up to 10 million won,
be barred from administrative support for two years, and undergo additional special oversight.


제주시, 구제역 방역 소·염소 백신 일제접종


제주시가 구제역 방역 조치를 위해 이달 말까지 소와 염소 농가를 대상으로 하반기 백신 일제접종을 실시합니다.

백신접종은 자가접종이 원칙이며 소규모 농가와 고령 등 자가접종이 어려운 농가는 공수의사를 통한 접종이 가능합니다.

일제접종 4주 이후부터는 모니터링 검사가 이뤄지며 항체양성률이 기준치에 미달될 경우1천만 원 이하 과태료, 2년간 행정 지원 제외 등 특별관리가 이뤄집니다.
