As the influenza epidemic persists, the Jeju Association of Health has emerged, advocating for preventive vaccinations and urging public caution.

The association has indicated that the flu outbreak, continuous from last year, has witnessed an upsurge since September this year.

They have emphasized the importance of receiving vaccinations, which are currently available at no cost to children between six months and 13 years of age, pregnant women, and seniors 65 years and older.

In addition to the influenza vaccine, the Association is concurrently offering vaccines for pneumonia and shingles as well, encouraging a comprehensive approach to disease prevention.




인플루엔자 유행 지속…예방 접종 당부


인플루엔자 유행이 계속되면서 제주도 건강관리협회가 주의와 함께 예방 접종을 권고하고 나섰습니다.
제주도 건강관리협회는 지난해부터 이어진 인프루엔자 유행이 올해 9월 이후 상승세를 보이고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

생후 6개월에서 13살까지 어린이, 임신부, 만 65살 이상 어르신을 대상으로 무료 예방 접종을 실시하고 있는 만큼 예방접종을 받아줄 것을 당부했습니다.

건강관리협회는 인플루엔자 접종과 함께 폐렴구균과 대상포진 예방접종을 함께 진행하고 있다고 덧붙였습니다.
