The Province is intensifying its efforts to prevent wildfires on Mount Halla during the autumn season.

Jeju is mobilizing its Wildfire Prevention Headquarters earlier than scheduled and will deploy five surveillance personnel to vulnerable areas and trails.

Surveillance efforts will be ramped up with the installation of unmanned cameras in multiple locations, including the alpine areas of Mount Halla.

Along with these actions, authorities will hand out over a thousand kits for mountaineers, including backpack pumps and personal fire suppression tools and will provide enhance awareness to help prevent fires.

제주특별자도가 가을철 한라산 산불 예방 활동을 강화합니다. 이를 위해 산불방지대책본부를 조기에 가동하고 취약지와 탐방로에 감시원 5명을 전진 배치합니다.
한라산 고지대를 포함해 곳곳에 설치된 무인카메라를 통한 감시활동도 강화합니다.

이와 함께 등짐펌프와 개인진화장비세트 등산불진화장비 1천여점을 배치하고 산불조심 홍보물을 게시해 계도합니다.
