The Jeju Education Museum is organizing a special exhibition for schools in Jeju celebrating its’ 100th anniversary.

This exhibition will first focus on three of five schools in the province celebrating their 100th anniversary this year: Gu-um(구엄), Ae-wol(애월), and Han-rim(한림) Elementary, all located in the western region.

The exhibit will showcase over 180 items from the Jeju Education Museum's collection, ranging from awards and report cards to student anthologies and graduation albums, spanning from the Japanese colonial era to modern times.

The museum is gearing up for a second exhibit later this year, spotlighting Kim-nyeong(김녕) Elementary School and Dong-nam(동남) Elementary School.

제주교육박물관이 개교 100주년을 맞는 제주의 학교 기획전을 마련합니다.
이번 전시는 올해로 개교 100년이 되는 도내 5개교 가운데 우선 서부지역에 위치한 구엄초와 애월초, 한림초등학교 3개교를 대상으로 진행됩니다.

제주교육박물관이 소장하고 있는 해당 학교의 일제강점기부터 최근까지의 상장과 통지표, 학생 문집, 졸업앨범 등 180여 점의 자료가 전시됩니다.

교육박물관은 연말에 김녕초등학교와 동남초등학교를 대상으로 두번째 기획전을 진행할 예정입니다.
