Vaccinations for COVID-19 have begun for high-risk groups, including the elderly and those with compromised immune systems.

The general population will also be able to receive vaccinations from next month.
Vaccinations are available on the same day without prior reservation, and can be obtained for free at 111 designated medical institutions in the Jeju City area until March 31 of next year.

Public Health authorities explained that the vaccine used for this round has been developed in response to the currently prevalent variants, and is said to have a preventive effect three times greater than the vaccinations used last winter.

지난해 동절기 접종 백신보다 3배 높은 예방 효과가 있다고 설명했습니다.
