Jeju Air has received an A marking in the ESG evaluation for listed companies announced by the Korea ESG Standards Institute.

Jeju Air was rated A in the environmental sector in this assessment, A+ in the social sector, and B+ in governance, thus elevating two grades from last year's overall B grade.

Jeju Air received positive feedback for its initiatives, including the production of "Refresh Bags" made from recycled flight crew uniforms and clothing donation events for employees.

Additionally, the introduction of next-generation aircraft scheduled for the second half of this year is expected to have a direct effect in reducing carbon emissions.

제주항공이
한국ESG기준원이 발표한 상장기업 ESG평가에서
A등급을 획득했습니다.

제주항공은 이번 평가에서
환경 부문 A, 사회 부문 A+, 지배구조 부문 B+를 평가받아
지난해 통합 등급 B에서 두 단계 상승한 A 등급을 획득했습니다.

제주항공은
폐기처분 승무원 유니폼을 재활용한 리프레시 백 제작과
임직원 헌 옷 기부 행사 등이 좋은 평가를 받았습니다.

또 올 하반기부터 도입이 예정된 차세대 항공기 운항이 시작되면
직접적인 탄소 배출 감축 효과가 있을 것으로 기대하고 있습니다.
