The Child Health Experience Activity Fee, which had been a matter of controversy for a while, is expected to be expanded selectively from next year.

The province has allocated 6.63 billion won for the Fee in next year's budget.

The eligibility criteria have been broadened from the current age range between 8 to 10 years of age to now include all elementary school students up to 12 years old.

However, the support is limited to those with household incomes less than 120% of the median income. In addition, children who already receive sports vouchers are excluded.

The province estimates that approximately 10,000 children will be eligible for the Child Health Experience Activity Fee.

한동안 논란이 됐던 아동건강체험활동비는
내년부터 확대하되
선별적으로 이뤄질 전망입니다.

제주특별자치도는 내년 예산안을 편성하면서
아동건강체험활동비로 66억 3천만원을 반영했습니다.

지원대상을
현재 96개월 이상부터 119개월 미만까지의
8살 이상 10살 미만에서
156개월인 12살 이하의 모든 초등학생으로 확대하기로 했습니다.

대신 중위소득 120% 이하로 제한하고
스포츠바우처 지원 아동은 제외하기로 했습니다.

이렇게 되면
아동건강체험활동비 지원 대상은
대략 1만명에 이를 것으로 제주도는 예상하고 있습니다.
