Various veteran compensations are expected to be expanded starting next year.

The province plans to increase the veteran welfare compensation from 90,000 won to 100,000 won per month starting next year.

For the war honor allowance, those under 80 years old will see an increase from 120,000 won to 150,000 won per month, while those 80 years old and above will see an increase from 220,000 won to 250,000 won.

Additionally, the welfare allowance for spouses of war veterans is also planned to increase from 90,000 won to 120,000 won per month.

In addition, the province has allocated a budget of 12.87 billion won for these veteran allowances next year.


내년부터 각종 보훈 수당 확대…월 최고 25만원


내년부터 각종 보훈 관련 수당이 확대될 전망입니다.

제주특별자치도는 내년부터
보훈예우수당을 월 9만원에서 10만원으로,
참전명예수당의 경우
80살 미만은 월 12만원에서 15만원으로,
80살 이상은 22만원에서 25만원으로 인상합니다.


또 참전배우자 복지수당 역시
월 9만원에서 12만원으로 늘릴 예정입니다.


제주도는 이같은 보훈 수당으로
내년 예산에 128억 7천만원을 반영해 놓고 있습니다.
