Amidst a recent nationwide surge in bedbug incidents causing concerns among residents, Jeju Island is intensifying its efforts in pest control.

Authorities are offering preventive measures to lodging and bathing facilities and conducting hygiene inspections and educational outreach.

Additionally, residents are encouraged to regularly inspect areas such as mattresses, sofas, and bookshelves for any signs of infestation and to utilize high-temperature steam or vacuum cleaners for contamination.

As of now, there have been no reported bedbug incidents on Jeju Island.



전국적 빈대 출현 잇따라, 방역 활동 강화


최근 전국적인 빈대 출현으로 도민 불안이 커지는 가운데 제주도가 방역활동을 강화합니다.

이를 위해 숙박업소나 목욕업소 등 관련시설에
예방수칙을 안내하고 위생점검과 계도활동에 나섭니다.

또 가정에서는 침대 매트리스나 소파, 책장 등 틈새를 자주 살피고 고열의 스팀이나 진공청소기를 이용해 청소해 줄 것을 당부하고 있습니다.

현재까지 제주에서는 빈대 발생 신고는 없는 상태입니다.
