Jeju land transactions have sharply declined, with a 15% decrease last month, as the real estate market stagnation persists.

According to Jeju Island authorities, the number of land transactions in Jeju last month amounted to 2,158 parcels, marking a 14.9% decrease compared to the previous year.

Breaking it down by region, Jeju City saw a 16.7% decrease, while Seogwipo City dropped by 10.6%.

Additionally, land transactions on the island have decreased by 35.2% year-to-date compared to last year.

지난달 제주지역 토지거래 건수는 2천158필지로
지난해 같은 달과 비교해 14.9% 감소했습니다.

지역별로 보면 제주시가 16.7%, 서귀포시가 10.6% 각각 줄었습니다.

이와 함께 올 들어 지난달까지 도내 토지거래 건수는
지난해 같은 기간 대비 35.2% 감소한 것으로 나타났습니다.
