Jeju City is investing 4.5 billion KRW this year to modernize facilities in 14 traditional markets, including Dongmun(동문) Market and traditional five day markets.

Among these, 10 markets including Dongmun(동문) , Seomun(서문), Donam(도남) Markets as well as the traditional five day markets have completed the installation of solar power facilities, replacement of elevators as well as repairs.

Additionally, projects like the installation of scenic lighting in Jungang-ro(중앙) shopping street and the replacement of refrigerators in Jungang(중앙) Underground Shopping Center are expected to be completed this year.

Jeju City plans to continue this modernization project next year, targeting 15 markets with an investment of 5.3 billion KRW.



제주시, 전통시장 시설 현대화사업 실시


제주시가
올해 45억 원을 투입해
동문시장과 민속오일시장 등 14개 전통시장과
상점가에 시설 현대화사업을 실시하고 있습니다.

이 가운데 동문공설시장과 서문공설시장, 민속오일시장,
도남시장 등 10개 시장의 경우
태양광 시설 설치와 승강기 교체,
시설물 보수공사를 마무리했습니다.



또 중앙로 상점가 경관조명 설치 사업과
중앙지하상가 냉동기 교체 공사 등은 올해 안에 마무리될 예정입니다.

제주시는 내년에도 15개 시장을 대상으로
53억원을 투입해
시설현대화사업을 추진할 계획입니다.
