The government has filed a lawsuit for damages against a man in his 30s who posted bomb threats and murder warnings for airports on an online community site.

In August, the Ministry of Justice reported that Mr. A had caused substantial financial loss due to his threatening posts related to five airports, including Jeju and Incheon International Airports. After deploying 570 personnel, including local police and special units, and incurring expenses like police personnel fees and fuel for vehicles amounting to about 32 million won, the government has initiated a lawsuit.

This case mirrors a similar incident from September regarding a lawsuit related to threats at Sinlim(신림) Station in Seoul, where 43 million won was charged for damages.

Meanwhile, Mr. A, who was arrested and indicted on charges of threats, was sentenced to one year and six months in prison at his first trial held at the Jeju District Court.

소송을 제기했다고 밝혔습니다.

지난 9월, 신림역 살인 예고글 게시자에게
4천 3백여만 원 상당의 손해배상 소송을 낸 이후 두 번째입니다.

한편, 공항 테러글을 올려
협박과 공무집행방해 등의 혐의로 구속기소된 A씨는
제주지법 1심에서
징역 1년 6개월의 실형을 선고받았습니다.
