To address the low birthrate issue, support for infertility treatments will be expanded starting next year.

The Province has recently completed procedures with the Ministry of Health and Welfare's social security consultation and announced that it will expand policies related to infertility treatment from next year.

As a result, the existing income criteria for treatment cost support and the limits on the number of treatments per type will be abolished.

Additionally, support for egg freezing procedures will be introduced, covering up to 50% of the cost for the first treatment.

In line with the expansion of the infertility treatment support policy, Jeju Province has allocated another 1 billion won to this year's budget.

이에 따라
당초 시술비 지원에 있던 소득 기준 제한과
시술별 횟수 제한이 폐지됩니다.

또 난자 동결 시술비 지원이 신설돼
첫 시술 비용의 최대 50%까지 지원됩니다.


제주도는
난임 시술 지원 정책 확대에 따라
관련 예산을 올해보다
10억 가량 늘려 편성했습니다.
