Seogwipo City is preparing and actively implementing a winter road snow removal strategy.

This year, the city has secured a budget of 1.52 billion won for road snow removal, which will be used to purchase de-icing materials and equipment. By the end of this month, they plan to supply necessary deicing materials and brine to towns and districts.

Beginning next month and continuing until March 15th, an emergency operations center will be operational. A communication network will also be set up with road snow removal teams to ensure readiness for any situations that may arise.

Seogwipo City has established a snow removal plan according to different situations, prioritizing major city roads and provincial roads to alleviate inconveniences caused by snow.



서귀포시, 겨울철 도로제설 대책 본격 추진


서귀포시가 겨울철 도로제설 대책을 마련하고 본격 추진합니다.

올해는 도로제설 관련 예산 15억 2천900만원을 확보해
제설재와 제설 장비를 구입하고
이달 말까지 읍면동에서 필요한 제설재와 염수 등을
보급할 예정입니다.

이어 다음달부터 내년 3월 15일까지 상황실을 운영하고
도로 제설 담당자들과 비상연락망을 구축해 대비하기로 했습니다.


서귀포시는 시내 주요도로와
지방도 연결도로를 우선 제설하는 등 상황별 제설 추진계획을 수립해
불편을 해소해 나갈 계획입니다.
