The provisional Jeju Online School, centered on real-time interactive remote classes, will open its doors next September.

The online school is a new type of public school, equipped with classrooms and teachers, offering both real-time interactive remote lessons and offline part-time classes. It will be located on the premises of Jeju High School.

The online school will support school curricula with advanced subjects that are difficult to offer in individual high schools and will ensure students' rights to choose their subjects.

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education is publicly soliciting a name for the provisional Jeju Online School until the 21st of this month.



'원격수업' 온라인학교 내년 9월 개교 예정


실시간 쌍방향 원격수업을 중심으로 하는
가칭 제주 온라인학교가 내년 9월 문을 엽니다.

온라인학교는
교실과 교사 등을 갖추고
실시간 쌍방향 원격 수업과 오프라인 시간제 수업을 제공하는
새로운 형태의 공립 학교로
제주고등학교내 부지에 들어섭니다.

온라인학교는
개별 고등학교에서 개설하기 어려운 심화 과목 등
학교 교육과정을 지원하고
학생 과목선택권을 보장하게 됩니다.

제주도교육청은 오는 21일까지
가칭 제주 온라인학교 이름을 공개 모집합니다.
