The Jeju City Regional Center of Jeju Agricultural Research and Extension Services has been awarded the highest honor at the Rural Development Administration's annual Pest and Meteorological Disaster Response Excellent Case Competition this year.

In this competition, the center received high scores for its operation of a Meteorological Disaster Response Situation Room, establishment of a collaborative network with related organizations, and its system for sharing and responding to agricultural disasters or pest and disease situations.
