Jeju is enhancing safety and accident prevention for visitors who wish to greet the first sunrise of the year on Mount Halla.

As a result, all facilities on Mount Halla's trails will be inspected, and a situation room will be operated to respond to weather anomalies such as heavy snowfall.

In particular, from 6 p.m. on the 31st, additional mountain safety personnel will be stationed at Azalea Field, Samgakbong(삼각봉) Shelter, and the Dongneung(동릉) Peak.

Additionally, in collaboration with related organizations, traffic control, road snow removal, and support for transporting emergency patients are planned.

갑진년 첫 해돋이를
한라산에서 맞으려는 탐방객들을 위해
제주도가
안전사고 예방을 강화합니다.

이에 따라 한라산 전 탐방로의 시설물을 점검하고
자체 상황실을 가동해
폭설 등 기상 이변 상황에 대응합니다.

특히 31일 오후 6시부터
진달래밭과 삼각봉대피소, 동릉 정상에 산악안전대원을 추가 배치합니다.



이 밖에도 유관기관과
교통통제와 도로 제설 작업,
응급환자 이송을 지원할 예정입니다.
