A disaster prevention project is being implemented in the natural disaster risk improvement area in Gyorae-ri, Jocheon-eup, a habitual flooding area.

In April this year, Jeju City designated the Gyorae-ri area as a natural disaster risk improvement district after a feasibility review and secured a budget of 1.4 billion won for the maintenance project.

Meanwhile, 55 locations have been designated as natural disaster risk improvement districts by Jeju City, with 42 of the projects completed so far. Among the remaining 13 locations, seven districts including Jongdal(종달), Udo, and Pyeongdae(평대), will undergo maintenance next year with an investment of 17.6 billion won.

교래리 일원을
자연재해위험개선지구로 지정했으며
14억 원의 예산을 확보해 정비사업에 나섭니다.

한편, 제주시에서 자연재해위험개선지구로 지정된 곳은 55개소로
현재까지 42곳의 사업이 완료됐고
나머지 13개소 가운데
종달과 우도, 평대 등 7개 지구는
내년에 176억 원을 투입해 정비사업을 추진할 예정입니다.
