Jeju exports have recorded a three-month consecutive increase, thanks to strong performance in key industries including semiconductors.

According to the Jeju branch of the Korea International Trade Association, last month's exports from the region amounted to $21.53 million, a 16% increase compared to the same month last year.

Jeju's export growth rate was more than double the average export growth rate of the 17 provinces and cities nationwide, ranking third highest.

By item, semiconductors, the largest export item, increased by 36%, while cosmetics rose by 124% and agricultural products by 78%.

반도체 등 주력 산업 선전에 힘입어 3개월 연속 증가세를 기록했습니다.

한국무역협회 제주지부에 따르면
지난달 도내 수출은
전년 동월 대비 16% 증가한 2천 153만달러를 기록했습니다.


제주 수출액은
전국 17개 시도의 평균 수출 증가율을 두 배 넘게 옷둘며
3번째로 높은 수준을 보였습니다.

품목별로는
최대 수출 품목인 반도체가 36% 늘었으며
화장품은 124%, 농산물은 78% 각각 증가한 것으로 나타났습니다.
