Construction is beginning on a multipurpose cultural center to improve the welfare environment for workers of companies in the Gujwa Industrial Complex.

According to Jeju City, the Gujwa Industrial Complex Cultural Center, with a project cost of about 4.7 billion won, aims to be completed by December next year. It will be a three-story building on a 2,000 square meter site within the industrial complex.

The center will feature a multipurpose auditorium, a lounge, dormitories, a fitness room, and a rest area, and will serve as a shared space for workers and local residents.



구좌농공단지 복합문화센터 본격 착공

구좌농공단지 입주기업 근로자들의 복지환경 개선을 위한
복합문화센터가 본격적인 공사에 들어갑니다.

제주시에 따르면
구좌농공단지 복합문화센터는 사업비 47억여 원이 투입돼
내년 12월 준공을 목표로
농공단지 내 2천여제곱미터 부지에 지상 3층 규모로
지어집니다.

센터에는 다목적 공연장과 라운지,
기숙사, 체력단련실, 휴게실 등이 조성돼
근로자와 지역주민의 공유공간으로 활용됩니다.
