Jeju Island is set to invest 76.2 billion won in the tourism and exchange sectors to revitalize the tourism market.

According to the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, next year's budget for the tourism and exchange sectors will increase by 11.7% compared to this year. Investments will include 16.3 billion won for the expansion of MICE multi-purpose facilities, 12 billion won for secondary interest subsidy of the Tourism Promotion Fund, and 9.4 billion won for marketing to attract tourists.

A key focus will be on revitalizing regional tourism to respond to population decline and developing customized tourism products that align with changing trends, making the recovery of the tourism market a top priority.

Additionally, Jeju plans to activate peace projects and domestic and international exchange programs to spread the value of Jeju as an island of world peace further.

특히 인구소멸 대응을 위한 지역관광 활성화와
트렌드 변화에 맞는 맞춤형 관광상품 개발 등을 통해
관광 시장 회복을 최우선 과제로 추진할 계획입니다.

아울러 평화사업과 국내외 교류사업도 더욱 활성화해
세계평화의 섬 제주의 가치를 확산시켜 나갈 방침입니다.
