Jeju Island has the highest number of franchise stores per capita in South Korea.

According to the 'Franchise Survey Preliminary Results' released by the Korea Statistical Office, the number of franchise stores in Jeju last year was 4,614, an increase of 11.4% compared to the previous year.

During the same period, the number of franchise stores per 10,000 people increased from 61.5 to 68.3, the highest among the 17 provinces and cities in the country.

In Jeju, there were 14,871 employees working in franchises, and the total sales revenue was estimated to be about 1.637 trillion won.

같은 기간 인구 1만명당 가맹점 수는
61.5개에서 68.3개로 늘어
전국 17개 시도 가운데 가장 많은 규모를 유지했습니다.

도내 프랜차이즈 종사자는 1만 4천871명
매출액은 1조 6천370억원으로 집계됐습니다.
