The results of a recent survey indicate that the overall life satisfaction of residents in Jeju is at an average level.

According to the '2023 Jeju Social Indicators' report released by Jeju Province, the satisfaction level with their life scored an average of 6.37 out of 10.

Additionally, the satisfaction level with household income was rated at 2.81 out of 5, and 3.4 with the public education environment.

The top policy priority, as identified for the third consecutive year, is the creation of good jobs and the enhancement of employment quality. This objective remains at the forefront, followed closely by the improvement of social welfare services.

This social survey was carried out from June 1 to June 28, targeting individuals aged 15 and above in 3,000 selected households throughout the province. It encompassed 79 indicators across 7 different categories.

제주도민의 삶의 만족도가
보통 수준인 것으로 조사됐습니다.

제주도가 발표한
'2023 제주 사회지표'에 따르면
자신의 삶에 대한 만족도는
10점 만점에 평균 6.37점인 것으로 나타났습니다.

이 밖에 가구 소득 수준 만족도는 5점 만점에 2.81점,
공교육 환경 만족도는 3.4점 등으로 조사됐습니다.

가장 중점을 두고 추진해야 할 정책으로는
좋은 일자리 창출과 고용의 질 개선이
3년 연속 1순위를 차지했고
사회복지서비스가 뒤를 이었습니다.

한편, 이번 사회조사는
지난 6월 1일부터 28일까지
도내 표본 3천 가구의 15살 이상 가구원을 대상으로
7개 부문 79개 지표에 대해 이뤄졌습니다.
