Halla Arboretum is suffering from graffiti caused by visitors.

Jeju World Heritage Headquarters reported damages to over 30 bamboo trees with graffiti along Arboretum trails.

The headquarters suspects that the graffiti was done by young people visiting including school excursion groups.

They plan to install additional graffiti prohibition signs along the trails and strengthen on-site guidance.

제주 한라수목원이 탐방객들의 낙서로
골머리를 앓고 있습니다.

제주세계유산본부에 따르면
수목원 탐방로에 심어진 대나무 가운데
낙서로 훼손된 30여 그루가 확인됐습니다.

본부 측은
수학여행단을 비롯한
젊은 탐방객들이 낙서를 한 것으로 추정하고 있습니다.

탐방로에 낙서 금지 표지판을 추가로 설치하고
현장 지도를 강화하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
