The economic outlook for small business owners and traditional market merchants in Jeju is expected to worsen this month.

According to the Small Enterprise Market Promotion Agency, the economic outlook index for local small businesses this month is 80.4, a decrease of 10.1 points compared to a month ago.

The economic outlook index for traditional markets is 75.5, down 12.3 points from the previous month.

Both small business owners and traditional market merchants cited the decrease in consumer spending due to the economic downturn as the main reason for the worsening economic outlook.
