Jeju Province is investing 5 billion KRW of national funds this year to acquire Gotjawal forest land.

The acquisition will prioritize Gotjawal areas classified as ecological grades 1 and 2, as well as those suitable for group cultivation in the Jocheon(조천) and Hankyung(한경) regions.

The targeted land for acquisition should not have any existing rights, such as mortgages or surface rights, and the areas on your land ledgers and copy of land certification should match.

Once acquired, the Gotjawal forest land will be designated and managed as a trial forest, following consultations with the National Institute of Forest Science.

Jeju Province had previously invested 562 billion KRW in 2009 to acquire 521 hectares of Gotjawal forest land.


올해 곶자왈 사유림 매수에 국비 50억 투입

제주특별자치도가
올해 국비 50억원을 투입해 곶자왈 사유림을 매수합니다.

매수 대상 곶자왈은
생태 1~2등급과
집단화 가능한 임지로
조천과 한경지역을 우선 추진합니다.

매수 대상은
저당권이나 지상권 등 사권이 설정돼 있지 않아야 하며 토지대장과 등기부등본상 면적이 동일해야 합니다.

매수된 곶자왈에 대해서는
국립산림과학원과 협의를 거쳐 시험림으로 지정 관리하게 됩니다.

제주도는
지난 2009년부터 국비 562억원을 투입해
521헥타아르의 사유곶자왈을 매수한 바 있습니다.
