Jeju City received 156 reports of substandard and adulterated food through the integrated reporting center 1399 last year.

The reports were categorized by type including, foreign substances found with the most number of cases at 57 ,
38 cases of hygiene issues; 16 for passing expiration dates and 14 cases of advertisement and labeling-related issues.

These figures represent a 15% decrease compared to the previous year. Jeju City found 48 establishments violating food hygiene laws, resulting in administrative actions being taken.
