Jeju University has recently concluded its tuition fee review committee and made a significant decision to freeze the tuition for the 2024 academic year.

The university has opted to freeze undergraduate tuition fees, maintaining the status quo that has been in place since 2009. Graduate programs will see an average increase of 3.3%.

Despite the maximum tuition ceiling of 5.64%, Jeju National University explained that their decision to freeze undergraduate tuition was aimed at alleviating the financial burden on parents of undergraduate students.



제주대 16년째 등록금 동결…대학원은 인상

제주대학교는
최근 등록금심의위원회를 열고
2024학년도 학부 등록금을 동결하기로 결정했습니다.

이에 따라 제주대 학부 등록금은
지난 2009년 이후 16년 연속 동결됐습니다.

다만 대학원의 경우 평균 3.3%를 인상했습니다.

제주대는
올해 정부가 등록금 인상률 상한선을
5.64%로 공고했지만
학부모 부담을 줄이기 위해
이 같이 결정했다고 설명했습니다.
