The Province is the only region in South Korea to have experienced a decrease in land values over the past year.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Appraisal Board, the land values on the island decreased by 0.41% compared to the previous year.

This is in stark contrast to the national average increase of 0.82% in land values across 17 provinces and cities.

Overall, local transactions dropped by 31.3% compared to the previous year, with a total of 28,061 recorded for the past year.

지난해 제주지역 땅값이
전국에서 유일하게 하락한 것으로 나타났습니다.

지난해 전국 지가변동률과 토지거래량에 따르면
제주 지가는 전년 대비 0.41% 하락했습니다.

전국 17개 시도 가운데
지가가 하락한 곳은 제주가 유일했으며
전국 평균 지가는 0.82% 상승했습니다.

지난해 도내 전체 토지거래량은 2만 8천61필지로
1년 전과 비교해 31.3% 감소했습니다.
