The Jeju Development Corporation has decided to freeze the rent for public rental housing.

Since starting the public rental housing project in 2006, this marks the fifth consecutive year without any rent increase, with the only previous increase occurring in 2019.

The corporation explained that this decision was made due to the recent rise in prices and a weakening domestic economy, which have continued amid an economic downturn.

Currently, the Jeju Development Corporation is providing public rental housing in over 1,300 units.

최근 물가 상승과 내수 경기 악화 등
경기불황이 지속에 따라
이같이 결정했다고 개발공사는 설명했습니다.

현재 개발공사에서 공급중인 공공임대주택은
1천 300여호에 이르고 있습니다.
