With more than 70% of specialists in Jeju joining a collective leave, comprehensive hospital emergency rooms face disruptions in their operations.

Currently, Jeju National University Hospital and Hallim(한림) Hospital are
activating emergency response systems
due to the absence of specialists, prioritizing the treatment of severe patients.

Intermediate cases are treated at Seogwipo Medical Center’s Central Hospital, and Hanmaum(한마음) Hospital, while mild cases are handled at Hankuk(한국) Hospital.

Prioritized treatment is possible based on the classification of patients with high severity. Therefore, it is recommended that for mild patients, whenever possible, utilize nearby local clinics first.


전공의 집단행동에 응급실 운영 '차질'…"중증 우선 진료"


제주도내 전공의 70% 이상이 집단 휴진에 동참하면서
종합병원 응급실 업무에도 차질이 빚어지고 있습니다.

현재 제주대학교병원과 한라병원은
전공의 부재로 인해 응급실 비상진료체계를 가동하고
중증 응급환자를 우선 진료하고 있습니다.

중등증은 서귀포의료원과 중앙병원, 한마음 병원에서,
경증은 한국병원에서 진료를 맡고 있습니다.

제주도는
응급실에서 중증도가 높은 환자 분류에 따라
우선 진료가 가능한 만큼
경증 환자의 경우 가급적 가까운 동네 병의원을
우선 이용해 줄 것을 당부했습니다.
