The ongoing collective leave of absence by medical specialists is causing disruptions in medical operations across the province.

Jeju National University Hospital will utilize its operating rooms at 70% capacity starting this week and adjust some scheduled surgeries accordingly.

The emergency room is also operating with only 50% of the existing medical staff, seeing critical patients but redirecting mild cases to other hospitals.

Meanwhile, the majority of the 141 medical specialists in the province are currently participating in the collective leave of absence.

예정된 수술 일정을 일부 조정하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

응급실 역시
기존 의사 인력의 50% 수준으로 운영돼
중증 환자는 진료하지만
경증 환자는 다른 병원으로 보내고 있는 상황입니다.

한편, 현재 도내 전공의 141명 가운데
대다수가 집단 휴진에 동참하고 있습니다.
