The operation of the reconciliation support team, led by the Jeju City Office of Education Support, aimed at resolving school violence, has shown success.

The Jeju City Office of Education Support announced that out of 95 applications for reconciliation concerning school violence incidents reported last year, 88 cases were resolved through reconciliation.

The reconciliation support team helps facilitate reconciliation and mediation before incidents of school violence are officially referred to the School Violence Countermeasures Committee.

Starting this year, the reconciliation support team will be transferred from the Jeju City Office of Education Support to the Jeju Provincial Office of Education for continued operation.

제주시교육지원청의 학폭 폭력 중재를 위한
화해조정지원단 운영이 성과를 내고 있습니다.

제주시교육지원청은
지난해 발생한 학교폭력에 대한 화해 조정 신청 95건 가운데
88건이 화해 조정을 통해 자체 해결됐다고 밝혔습니다.

화해조정지원단은 학교폭력이 발생해 학교폭력대책심의위원회에 정식 접수되기 전에
화해와 중재를 유도하는 제도입니다.

올해부터 화해조정지원단은 제주시교육지원청에서
제주도교육청으로 이관돼 운영됩니다.
