Jeju City is currently inspecting the safety management practices of 30 freight transport companies.

Inspections will focus on the management of transportation personnel, the acquisition of qualifications for freight transport personnel, and compliance with driver rest times.

Furthermore, the safety regulations for cargo vehicles, alongside the proper installation and upkeep of driving recorders, are under strict scrutiny.

As a result of last year's inspection, Jeju City provided on-site guidance for 64 cases and imposed administrative sanctions for one regulation violation case.

제주시가 화물운송업체 30곳을 대상으로 안전관리 실태를 점검합니다.

주요 점검 내용은 운수종사자 관리실태와 화물운송 종사자격 취득 여부, 운전자 휴게시간 준수 여부 등입니다.

또 화물자동차에 대해서는 안전기준 적합여부은 물론
운행기록장치 장착과 기록 여부를 집중 점검합니다.

한편 제주시는 지난해 점검을 통해 64건에 대한 현장 계도와 법규 위반 1건에 대한 행정처분을 내렸습니다.
