The prosecution has upheld its sentencing recommendation, proposing a maximum of eight years and a minimum of four years in prison for a teenager for illegally filming in a women's restroom of a high school.

The Jeju District Court's Second Criminal Division held a final hearing for the defendant, ‘A’, who was arrested and charged with violations of the law against sexual violence.

According to the indictment, from September last year, ‘A’ illegally filmed over 200 times in the restroom at a local high school and is accused of illegally distributing content on social media approximately ten times.

Although the prosecution mentioned that agreements had been reached with some of the victims, they emphasized the large number of victims and their ongoing suffering as reasons for their sentencing recommendation.

A’s sentencing is scheduled for the 5th of next month.

A 피고인에 대한 재결심 공판을 열었습니다.

공소사실에 따르면 A 피고인은
지난해 9월부터 도내 고등학교와 식당 여자화장실에서 2백여 차례에 걸쳐
피해자들을 불법 촬영하고 10차례 SNS 등에 불법 유포한 혐의를 받고 있습니다.

검찰은
일부 피해자들과 합의했지만
피해자가 다수이고
고통을 호소하고 있다며 구형사유를 설명했습니다.

A 피고인에 대한 선고는 다음달 5일 내려질 예정입니다.
